1961年、東京生まれ。玉川大学芸術学科卒業、作曲を土居克行氏に師事。第5回国立劇場作曲コンク－ル優秀作品賞（1位）ならびに文化庁舞台芸術創作奨励特別賞受賞。第８回現音作曲新人賞等入選。東アジアの現代音楽祭、あいちトリエンナーレ、パンミュージックフェスティバル等数々の音楽祭において作品が演奏されている。現音の音楽展を中心に現代音楽のフィールドでおもに活動しているが、近年は地域のアマチュアバンドのための吹奏楽作品やヒーリング音楽も手がけるなど幅広い領域で作品を発表している。日本現代音楽協会会員。
BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1961, in Tokyo. Graduated Tamagawa University. Studied composition under Prof. Yoshiyuki Doi. Won the 1st prize and the special prize at the musical composition contest of National Theatre. Awarded Original Stage Work Prize at Agency for Cultural Affairs. Awarded the 2nd prize at Nagoya Prize. Nominated for the finals of the competition for new composers held by ISCM Japanese section and some of other competitions. Selected for some festival such as WMD(2001 in Yokohama, exhibited Japanese section), Contemporary Music Festival in East Asia(2010&13 in Hiroshima) , Pan music Festival(2011 in Seoul) etc. Acting chiefly in the field of the contemporary music, occasionally composing tonality pieces for community bands and heeling pieces. Member of ISCM Japanese section.
