東京都出身。これまでに湯浅譲二、三枝成彰の両氏に師事。第55回日本音楽コンクール作曲部門第3位、第4回名古屋文化振興賞受賞。1990年ヴァレンチノ・ブッキ国際音楽コンクール作曲部門第1位。1991年ISCM世界音楽の日々(チューリッヒ)入選。1996年セロツキ国際作曲コンクール第2位メック出版社賞受賞。
2000年チューリッヒにて室内オペラ「Das Höllenbild」がEnsemble fuer neue musik zuerichの演奏で５日間上演される。
2006年スイスHat Hut Records Ltdから作品集のCD「Prognostication」がリリースされ発売記念コンサートとしてチューリッヒ、バーゼル他で個展が開催される。
2017年Hat Hut Records Ltd.よりリリースされたCD ｢Led by the Yellow Bricks｣（全７曲）はスイスにて初演され、イギリスのガーディアン紙にレヴューが掲載される。
2019年JTアートホールにて吉村七重プロデュース邦楽展委嘱「神話の国の心象風景」全８曲が演奏される。同年カメラ―タ・トウキョウよりCDがリリースされ、レコード芸術の特選盤として紹介される。
BIOGRAPHY
Born in Tokyo, Noriko Hisada studied under Joji Yuasa and Shigeaki Saegusa. As a student, she won awards such as 3rd prize in the 55th Japan Music Competition and the Nagoya Culture Promotion Prize. Since then, she has won other international awards including 1st prize in the International Valentino Bucchi Competition (1990), ISCM World Music Days (1991), and 2nd prize and the Moeck Verlag Prize in the International Kazimierz Serocki Competition (1996).
In 2000, her composition “Das Höllenbild” (chamber opera) was performed by Ensemble fuer neue musik zuerich in Zurich for 5 nights.
In 2006, the album “Prognostication”, a collection of her works, was released by Hat Hut Records Ltd., followed by release concerts held in Zurich, Basel and other cities.
In 2017, she released another album titled “Led by the Yellow Bricks”, again under Hat Hut Records Ltd. After premiering in Switzerland, the seven-piece suite was reviewed by the British news publication The Guardian.
In 2019, Camerata Tokyo released the album “Imagined Scenery from Myths” that was commissioned by Hougaukten with production by Nanae Yoshimnura. This album was later introduced as a “Special Selection CD” (Tokusenban) by the Record Geijutsu.
