兵庫県出身。2017年ISCM2017バンクーバー大会、2012年アバンティ夏期作曲講習会（フィンランド）および、ドゥルスコマニア音楽祭（リトアニア）など、国内外で作品発表をする。そのほか、ヴィスビー作曲センター(VICC)レジデンス(スウェーデン)、イタリア・アッシジにてエレクトロコンサートを企画発表するなど、さまざまな活動を行う。
代表作は、弦楽オーケストラのための”レンミンカイネンの母”(rev.2017)、プリスム(2006)、月の光-P.ヴェルレーヌの詩による-(2014)などがある。
BIOGRAPHY
Michiko Fukazawa was born in Japan. She received Diploma from l’Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and also the Certificate from Conservatoire d’Annecy.
Her piece ‘Lemminkainen’s Mother for string orchestra’ was performed by Vancouver New Music String Orchestra in November 3 2017, ISCM 2017 in Vancouver Canada, and at Summer Course of Avanti! Summer Sounds 2012 in Porvoo, Finland. She has participated in Druskomanija Festival 2012 in Lithuania and her piece ‘Berceuse for piano and electronics’. She is also invited as the resident composer at Visby International Composers Centre in Gotland, Sweden.
Other notable pieces she has composed include Prisme (2006), Amber (2012), Clair de lune (2014).
